Sergio Bellotti (drumset faculty at Berklee College of Music) teamed up with Loris Lombardo (percussionist, world master Handpan player and Handpan Maker, and author) for The PANoDRUMa duo.
Both are world-renowned artists in their respective fields. The duo has talked and performed at TEDx and the prestigious Berklee College of Music Percussion Festival.
They have also performed extensively across Switzerland and Italy. Loris Lombardo has performed with Italian stars Anna Oxa, Emma Marrone (at the Sanremo Festival), and guitar legend Andrea Braido.
Sergio Bellotti has performed and recorded with Grammy-nominated and Blues Hall of Fame artist Joe Louis Walker and guitar master Mike Stern.
After several European performances, the duo premiered in the US with workshops and performances in the Northeast, showcasing their unique blend of drums, vocals, and handpan/ethnic percussion in a show of "dreamlike sounds and melodic rhythms."
This dynamic show incorporated original compositions as well as unique arrangements of classics, blending a heavily rhythmic-driven performance with soothing esoteric and meditative segments.
